Founded in 1975 by business and civic leaders, Greater Phoenix Leadership (GPL) is a non-profit organization comprised of presidents and CEOs of corporations throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area.

The mission of Greater Phoenix Leadership is to improve the greater Phoenix area and the state of Arizona by bringing together talent, resources and leadership to create action on priority issues.

The Phoenix metropolitan region will become the premier area in the USA in which to live, work, raise a family and earn a quality education. Greater Phoenix Leadership will provide the executive forum through which corporate leadership can effectively and efficiently collaborate with the public sector and non-profit organizations to establish and sustain a safe, healthy and prosperous community.

What are GPL's Membership Requirements?
An active member must be the chief executive officer or the senior official of a major corporation headquartered in Arizona or a senior partner if a member of a legal or accounting firm. Those who do not specifically fit these categories may be considered based upon their ability to make a significant contribution to the community.

What is GPL's Nomination Process?
To be considered for membership in Greater Phoenix Leadership, an individual must be nominated by an active member of GPL.

Does GPL have Speakers at Monthly Membership Meetings?
From time to time, Greater Phoenix Leadership will invite guest experts who will address specific issue topics that are associated with a respective issue. However, GPL does not engage in the hiring or arranging of topical speakers that are not related to specific GPL objectives.

What is P-20?
GPL designed P-20 - An Approach to Integrated Learning, as the overall architecture of a seamless education, preschool through graduate school and employment.
P-20 seeks to develop the talent and intellectual capacity of Arizona's people in order to have a more highly skilled citizenry, competitive economy and high quality of life.
